Choosing the right psychologist for you

The match between psychologist and client is a key factor in the success of therapy. The psychologists at Centre Point Psychology are all independent and have been invited to join our practice based on personal characteristics of warmth, a positive, non-judgemental approach and an active commitment to ongoing training in the latest therapeutic approaches in our field. Sometimes a particular psychologist may be better suited to your needs due to their additional experience or training. When you first contact Centre Point Psychology, a psychologist will help you to choose the right psychologist for you.

The psychologists at Centre Point Psychology are all highly qualified and fully registered with post-graduate training and experience providing psychological therapy for adults. Some psychologists also work with children and young people. They combine professional experience with personal qualities of warmth and understanding to provide a positive and effective therapeutic experience for clients. All of our psychologists commit to ongoing training to keep up with the latest developments in psychology and regularly engage in peer consultation to continually improve our practice. In your first session, we will start by getting to know you and will guide you through an assessment of your needs so that we can develop a shared understanding of what you would like to get out of therapy.
