Bianca provides sessions via Zoom and as well as face to face in rooms at Erina on the Central Coast.
Bianca is a Clinical Psychologist (Registration Number: PSY0001373375) and a member of the EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA). She holds a Doctor of Clinical Psychology, a Master of Science and a Master of Health Information Management from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), with a major in psychology, from the University of Newcastle.
Since commencing therapeutic work in 2007, Bianca has practised in a wide variety of treatment settings in both Australia and the UK, including hospitals, community health settings, GP surgeries, private practice, telehealth services and universities.
She has a special interest in helping people who have experienced developmental and attachment trauma, which can often underlie current symptoms and unhelpful life patterns. Bianca’s other therapeutic interests include issues related to personal values and identity, including challenges faced by LGBTI individuals.
In addition to her clinical work, Bianca has undertaken honours level research into the relationship between social information processing and physical and verbal aggression, and master’s level research into the structure of the self-concept and its relationship to mood, self-esteem, perfectionism and procrastination. She received the Chancellor's Award for Research Excellence and the University Medal for her honours research, and a University Postgraduate Award Scholarship to undertake her master’s research.
Bianca's approach is warm, open and non-judgemental. She has great respect for those who make the decision to actively improve their psychological health and wellbeing, and works to provide a supportive and empathic environment that encourages insight, growth and positive change.
Bianca believes that therapy is most effective when it is provided within a collaborative relationship based on honesty, trust, humour and mutual respect. She is committed to providing scientifically supported therapeutic interventions that are best suited to the values and strengths of the individual, and the areas they are seeking to improve.

Dr Bianca Crick works as an independent Psychologist consulting at Centre Point Psychology. She maintains full professional autonomy in the treatment of her clients.
