Thea is a registered Clinical Psychologist with post-graduate qualifications in both Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology. She has more than 20 years professional experience working in a variety of public health and private practice settings and has extensive experience and specialist skills in neurorehabilitation and trauma. Thea was the head of Psychology at a public hospital in Sydney for more than 10 years, supervising both clinical psychologists and neuropsychologists. She now enjoys working clinically in private practice, whilst continuing to provide home-based psychotherapy to individuals who have suffered traumatic brain or spinal injuries.

Thea offers treatment in the following areas:

  • Anxiety disorders including Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive disorder, Health anxiety and phobias
  • Depression, including low-mood, acute depressive episodes, chronic depression and post-natal depression

Thea’s approach in therapy is warm and empathic. She has a passion for providing best practice, evidence-based treatment in collaboration with the client to meet their specific treatment goals and outcomes. During her training and more than 20 years clinical experience she has developed expertise in neuroscience and neuropsychology and specialist psychotherapeutic skills, which she utilises to deliver tailored informed treatment plans. She is focused on supporting the client to develop practical and effective skills and tools to manage their specific issues and concerns.
